Who Is N-vent?
N-vent Design Services LLC is an Indianapolis web design and development company operated by owner and sole proprietor, Ian Smith. That's me. An extended network of proven talent is always at hand - and is seamlessly utilized to handle any web development task. "N-vent," in case you were wondering, is a play on the word "invent."

The Background
In 2005 N-vent spawned as the result of natural growth from the DBA called Ianlabs. I guess you could say that it's what happens when a freelance business "grows up." N-vent is still based in Indianapolis, but thanks to the modern miracle of telecommuting, I build websites for clients from just about everywhere.
I have been designing and building websites and multimedia experiences in the Indianapolis area since 1996.
The Process
The problem-solving process I take is creative, thoughtful, and methodical, allowing me to offer a solution that is custom-fit in every sense of the word. What is your goal? What are your needs? I'll help you answer - and even define - these questions.
Everything I do is meticulous, and done at the highest level of quality. Instead of offering packaged products, all of my services are directly crafted and built around the client�s needs. It's all about quality over quantity.
I operate solely on word-of-mouth advertising, and the only way I can be successful is to exceed my client's expectations- which I do every day.
The Future
With many years under it's belt, N-vent is here to stay. Every year I've experienced amazing growth, and the list of happy clients has risen dramatically. I appreciate the opportunities to work on fantastic projects for fantastic clients - and I'm looking forward to the great things I'll be able to do for you in 2007 and beyond.
